Afghanistan is a country where most people live in areas so remote that to date, no central government has been able to deliver them the benefits of modern statehood.
Now, however, Kabul Center believes that with the right structure, all Afghans could be better served as citizens of a united nation.
Afghans are generally tired of being in a constant state of war and insecurity.
Afghans need to recognize that by creating genuinely democratic institutions they will not be betraying their faith but will be instead the way to the fair and just society that Muslims believed they are obliged to create.
It is democracy - the process of holding leaders accountable - that will ultimately free Afghanistan from corruption, tyranny, and oppressiveness.
Kabul Centers believes that a democratic state with accountable governance, where all citizens are treated equally under the law is the systems of governance most in line with Islam, the religion of the vast majority of Afghans.
